Thai massage, also known as Thai yoga massage or traditional Thai massage, is an ancient healing practice that originated in Thailand. It combines elements of acupressure, Indian Ayurvedic principles, and assisted yoga postures.

  • Some massage oils or lotions are used, and the recipient remains fully clothed in comfortable attire
  • It takes place on a firm mat or mattress on the floor, rather than a massage table
  • The practitioner uses not just their hands but also their forearms, elbows, knees, and feet to apply pressure

  3. Clean socks (optional, some places provide special massage socks)
